About
Overview
The American Museum of Ceramic Art is embarking on its second renewable energy project to bring additional solar panels to its roof, expanding sustainability efforts, reducing reliance on grid power, and saving money on energy costs that will be reinvested into public programs.
Fundraising Goal
Solar Project #2 is made possible in part by the Frankenthaler Climate Initiative of the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, which awarded AMOCA a $50,000 grant to kickstart the $200,000 project. With $150,000 left to raise, donations in any amount will help make the museum a more environmentally responsible member of Los Angeles County.
Project Details
Donations to this campaign will be used to pay for reroofing and purchasing and installing 116 solar panels.
