Drawing: Focus on Value

Learn to make your drawings pop off the page using graphite, charcoal, and white-on-dark media. Experiment with various techniques for creating dynamic light and shadow. Over this 7-week course, students will create a small portfolio including still life, landscape, master reproduction, portraiture, and abstraction. Repeat and advanced students will be offered more challenging subjects.

This is an in-person class held onsite at MoCA Arlington.
Supplies are not included in the cost of this class; a supply list will be emailed one week prior to class start date.
Health & Safety: Students experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat, and congestion) are asked to kindly wear a mask. MoCA Arlington can provide a medical mask if needed. If feeling unwell with worsening symptoms, please stay home.
