La Quinta Art Celebration SPRING 2027 is a 4-day juried art fair held annually in early March in the Coachella Valley. The event selects 200 premier artists to participate. The celebration features gourmet food, live music, and premium beverages, and attracts affluent patrons from the Coachella Valley, elite California coastal communities, and snowbirds. Proceeds benefit Tools For Tomorrow, a non-profit providing free after-school arts programs for elementary students.

  • 2-D Mixed Media and Digital Art: Multiple media with relief depth less than 1/8" inch; includes collage, handmade paper, non-wearable fiber; digital art created by artist on archival materials in signed editions of less than 450
  • 3-D Mixed Media: Multiple media with relief depth more than 1/8" inch; decorative rather than functional
  • Ceramics: Original clay work only; no machine-made or mass-produced work
  • Drawing and Pastel and Printmaking: Pencils, charcoal, chalk, pastels; traditional and modern printmaking techniques
  • Fiber/Wearable: Non-wearable fiber artwork (basketry, batik, weaving, tapestry) and wearable items (clothing, leather goods); no factory-produced, tie-dye, machine-tooled, or mass-produced items
  • Glass: No molds or mass production
  • Jewelry: No commercial casts, molds, or production studio work
  • Painting: Oil, acrylic, or watercolor on canvas or archival paper; reproductions/giclées up to 450 editions; 80% of booth must be original artwork
  • Photography: Black and white or color digital or prints from negatives; limited to 450 editions; must be artist-processed and signed/numbered
  • Sculpture: 3-dimensional sculptural art
  • 20% commission on all art sales during the event and/or commissions
  • Booth fees and electricity charges due: December 31, 2026 and January 20, 2027
  • Full refund available until February 1, 2027
  • Daily continental breakfast, deluxe boxed lunch, snacks, and unlimited bottled water

All applicants must ensure accurate contact information (phone numbers and email addresses) in their Artist Profile in ZAPPLICATION before submitting. Artists must define their work in their Artist Statement and disclose their process. The jury process occurs October 6-8, 2026, and all invited notifications are emailed through November 21, 2026.

Artists are required to use the customized Point of Sale (POS) application developed by SCOPE Events, LLC for recording all sales at the event. Training, technical assistance, and support will be available throughout the event.
