Get matched →SSA Mapping Festival invites visual artists worldwide to submit new or adapted works for projection mapping onto Mercado Modelo’s façade in Salvador, Brazil. Shortlisted artists receive online mentoring to develop their work for the festival’s public showcase in December. Who can apply: Artists aged 18 or over worldwide, applying individually or collectively. All visual and audiovisual practices are welcome, including animation, motion graphics, photography, illustration, video art, generative art and VJing. Works must follow the festival’s projection mapping specifications. What you get: A gross screening fee of R$500 for each completed work approved for projection, plus the chance to win one of three awards worth R$2,500–3,500. Shortlisted artists receive two hours of individual online mentoring and a group session.
