Overview
Urban ArtWorks, in partnership with Mary's Place and Mercy Housing Northwest, is seeking artists for a new affordable housing and family shelter development in Burien, Washington. This qualifications-based call will establish a pool of artists for paid public art opportunities, including interior and exterior murals, mounted artwork, site-specific work, and the licensing or purchasing of existing artwork.
Eligibility
- Artists in the Puget Sound region
- Emerging and established artists from visual arts disciplines
- Artists with connections to Burien, affordable housing, community-centered work, or the missions of Mary's Place and Mercy Housing especially encouraged
- Artists from historically underrepresented communities encouraged
