Collection Highlights
The museum holds nearly 300 works by Egon Schiele, including 48 paintings, watercolors, drawings, and graphic works—the most comprehensive Schiele collection worldwide. The permanent presentation also features masterpieces by Gustav Klimt and works by other major figures of Austrian Modernism, exploring artistic developments from Biedermeier through Expressionism and New Objectivity.
