Emerging Artist program
An educational program for developing artists in the DFW Metroplex with no previous juried show experience. Participants gain experience in marketing, work under an artist mentor, and receive feedback from customers. Art in the Square provides a 10x10 tent. EAs must provide panels, tables, and other display items and are required to be on site throughout the entire event. The EA area closes at 8:00 PM Friday and Saturday (no electrical power); battery lights are suggested.
Booth and site details
Each artist booth has plenty of room for hanging on outside walls, storage, and optimum viewing. Free convenient parking for autos and oversized vehicles is available. Pop-up tents are strongly discouraged due to springtime Texas wind; optional tent rental is available. Free electrical is provided (except in EA area).
Artist services
Art in the Square provides multiple amenities including easy setup/takedown, 24-hour security, free electrical, booth sitting, water and snacks delivered to artists, set-up luncheon Friday, and complimentary coffee and continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday. Discounted on-site hotel lodging is available.
