Overview
365 Days: LIFE MUSE is an artists-in-residence program for artistic research and contemporary art exhibition. An interdisciplinary and collaborative art project co-organized by Art Centre Silpakorn University and Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts and Culture (2015–2016), it engaged 22 artists and researchers from Thailand, ASEAN, and 11 countries. The project invited one Myanmar couple who are foreign laborers in the Nongpho community to participate and live in the project residence for one year. Over 365 days, participating artists developed alternative learning processes and diverse forms of collaboration with the Myanmar couple.
Residency Structure
- 10 sessions of artists in residence, with each 2 artists accommodated
- Development of work or research over 3 weekends per session

Project Aims
The project aims to generate understanding and awareness among people living in a multicultural sphere, addressing the conflict of diaspora and labored-migration issues through arts. It investigates the inter-relationship between state, investment, and labor to understand the fundamentals of foreign workers' problems, with emphasis on social attitude and problem analysis rather than human rights alone.
