Get matched →The 11th Annual MFA Online Exhibition titled 'Residue' is an international exhibition organized and juried by graduate students from the University of Montana and Montana State University. This exhibition provides graduate students the chance to see what their peers are creating, to connect with one another, build their resume and network. Last year, students from more than half of the MFA programs in North America, as well as from eight countries, participated.
Residue explores the aftermath of events—whether within our environment, our studio practice, or ourselves—that often linger far longer than the events themselves. This year's theme encourages exploration of what remains: joy, nostalgia, anxiety, grief, anger, or otherwise—the lasting impressions embedded in our lives and identities.
Open to graduate students from MFA programs internationally.
All visual art mediums are welcome.
This is an online exhibition, and work will be shown on the website and Instagram (@mfa.online.exhibition).
Review last year's exhibition at mfaexhibitiononline.org and on Instagram @mfa.online.exhibition.
