About
Overview
The Life with Art Grant supports initiatives and infrastructure development that increase participation in arts and culture among Tokyo residents by creating artworks rooted in everyday life and expanding artists' activities. Subsidies cover up to 1/2 of eligible expenses, up to 20 million yen.
Eligible Projects
Projects must enable many Tokyo residents to participate in and feel close to art and culture, leading to it being rooted in their daily lives; or develop foundations that expand the scope of artists' activities. All projects must include a place to interact with contemporary artists and artworks.
Who May Apply
Art groups, private organizations, and private companies that sponsor or implement projects primarily.
Discipline & Medium
General visual arts (visual arts). Collaboration with other fields is also possible.
Location
Projects must be based in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
Award
Grants subsidize up to 1/2 of eligible expenses with a maximum of 20 million yen.
