Overview

The 4th Annual Mercato Art Celebration is an exceptional outdoor fine art show presented by Naples Picasso Events, held on the prestigious closed streets of Mercato in Naples. It features original works from renowned national and international artists in painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more, set in one of Naples' most vibrant upscale districts surrounded by luxury boutiques, gourmet dining, and lively entertainment.

Eligibility

All artwork must be original and designed and executed by the applying artist. Booths are for individual exhibiting artists only (one artist per booth). Collaborating artists may share one booth if approved and must be identified in the application with clearly defined roles. No commercial agents, dealers, manufacturers, or buy/sell vendors are permitted.

What You Cannot Submit

• Artwork from commercial molds, patterns, kits, or volume production studios
• Ready-made items (clothing, furniture) with painted, dyed, or added embellishments
• Copies of masters, advertisements, or widely circulated photographs that violate copyright
• Posters, laser prints, t-shirts, postcards, calendars, cards, or promotional items

Venue & Experience

The show is held on palm-lined streets of Mercato closed to traffic, offering 24-hour security, professional show layout with tent rentals, on-site restrooms, dining, drinks, easy parking, and smooth artist setup. The venue attracts a discerning art-loving audience in one of Florida's wealthiest communities.

Important Policies

Artists must maintain general liability insurance of at least $1 million (with Naples Picasso Events listed as additional insured) and provide proof (Certificate of Insurance) no later than four weeks before the show. Work displayed must match the submitted images and will be inspected by a Quality Control Committee. Artists who do not register by 7:00 am on the first day will forfeit their booth without refund. A waitlist will be maintained based on jury scores; wait-listed artists may be accepted through the day of the show and will be contacted by phone or email.
