The 25th annual Life in Death – Dia de los Muertos art exhibit, presented by Clark County Parks and Recreation Public Office at Winchester-Dondero Cultural Center, invites artists to research and explore how Dia de los Muertos is celebrated by cultures throughout Mexico and the diaspora abroad.

This multigenerational celebration is a remembrance of the dead filled with festivities honoring life, both lived and living. Dia de los Muertos is NOT Halloween; submissions should be respectful to the tradition and not feature generic skeletons or scary themes. Although focusing on tradition, artists are encouraged to create subversive and innovative work building on the celebratory practices. Submit humorous, respectful work that celebrates Life in Death.
