Artworks & Artists
The route includes commissioned works by artists Larissa Esvelt, Arash Fakhim, Femke Herregraven, Keiko Sato, and Rob Voerman, all from the Arnhem region. Rob Voerman creates an observation tower; Keiko Sato responds to the area's history with a hidden shelter; Larissa Esvelt places a ceramic water nymph in the canal pond; Arash Fakhim contributes a large-scale bright blue sculptural scribble; Femke Herregraven leads an educational project with local primary schools (grades 5-6) creating time capsules marked by sculptures forming a playground.
Support & Poetry
The route is supplemented by poetry from regional writers and poets.
Timeline
The art route is accessible from 2024.
