Overview
The Clipe da Quebrada program, an initiative of the São Paulo State Department of Culture, Creative Economy and Industry in partnership with APAA, Catavento Cultural, Poiesis, and ICINE, aims to enable the production of music videoclips by musicians, artists, and audiovisual production companies.

Eligibility
Only formalized audiovisual production companies (Pessoa Jurídica) based in São Paulo State may apply, with priority for peripheral producers. Applicants must have active CNPJ or intent to formalize (MEIs accepted); minimum 1 year experience as audiovisual producer; production of at least 5 videoclips or similar materials; possession of or access to audiovisual equipment.
Program Details
Up to 30 audiovisual production companies will be selected: 12 from the São Paulo Metropolitan Region and 18 from other municipalities in São Paulo State. Selected producers have 25 business days from signing the agreement with APAA to complete the videoclip. Producers outside the metropolitan region may propose artists; those in the metropolitan region will work with pre-selected artists.
Technical & Content Requirements
Videoclips must be captured and delivered according to technical specifications. Content prohibiting human rights violations, discriminatory elements, pornography, offenses to others, partisan politics, religious preaching, apologies for violence, prejudice, intolerance, illegal activities, or endorsement of alcohol and cigarette consumption (except for strictly scenographic purposes).
Award & Support
Selected producers receive R$ 5.250,00 upon videoclip delivery and approval. APAA provides: launch, promotion and distribution of the videoclip across social media and digital platforms; registration of making-of and interviews for serialized audiovisual content on www.cultspplay.com.br; access to Fábricas de Cultura and APAA facilities for recording upon scheduling; indefinite licensing of produced clips.
Selection Process
Analysis occurs in order of submission. APAA staff and program partners evaluate applications based on stated criteria. Selected producers and artists (if applicable) are announced monthly on www.amigosdaarte.org.br. If insufficient qualified producers exist in a region by mid-year, vacancies may be redistributed among regions to reach 30 total producers.
