Code Switch features five new paintings and an augmented reality installation created during Malik McKoy's residency in the RBC Artist Incubator Lab. The works explore how constructed identities in virtual spaces relate to the people they represent, examining how technologies like virtual reality and artificial intelligence reproduce human biases and fetishize racialized and queer bodies.
