About
Overview
In partnership with TALM (École supérieure d'art et de design) and as part of the Les Affluentes professional development initiative, the City of Luynes (37) opens a call for applications to recent TALM graduates (2022-2026). The program offers a creation residency of more than one month followed by an exhibition at Centre Culturel la Grange in Luynes.
About Les Affluentes
Les Affluentes is a residence program initiated by TALM to support young graduates in their professional integration. Named after the rivers of the TALM territory (Maine, Mayenne, Jouanne, Vienne, Loir, Indre, etc.), the program deploys across a specific geography and adopts an ecosystem logic to federate interregional actors. The residencies are carried out by TALM's three sites in partnership with public and private structures in their territories.
About Luynes
Located a few kilometers west of Tours in the UNESCO-classified Loire Valley, Luynes is part of Tours Métropole Val de Loire. The commune is accessible by bus from Tours station (lines 50 or 57). Luynes is distinguished by exceptional heritage assets including 15th-century market halls, a 16th-century timber-framed house, Roman aqueduct remains, a castle (13th-17th century), former priory, Gallo-Roman villa ruins, and other historic structures. Recognized as a Petite Cité de Caractère since 2020 and a Site Patrimonial Remarquable, Luynes offers a preserved setting within a cultural landscape.
