Overview

A Space Gallery in Brooklyn is seeking artist submissions for solo exhibitions in Fall 2026. The gallery is especially interested in supporting underrepresented artists, projects that engage the space in thoughtful or unexpected ways, and works that may not fit traditional commercial gallery frameworks.

Eligibility

Open to artists of all educational backgrounds and career stages, based in the United States and internationally.

What to Submit

  • 5 images of your work in JPG/JPEG format
  • For video work: include a still image plus video clip (2 minutes maximum)
  • Label each image: First name_Last name_Title_Medium_Size_Year

Exhibition Details

Selected artists will work with A Space Gallery's curatorial team to develop their exhibition. Final scheduling determined in collaboration with the artist based on the work and gallery's programming calendar.

Delivery and Installation

  • Work must arrive by the exhibition installation date
  • Artist must install work with assistance from A Space Gallery staff
  • Label must be attached to back/bottom of each work with name, title, medium, and price
  • Work must be equipped for presentation appropriate to the artwork
  • If shipped, include prepaid return shipping label
  • No work not originally selected or discussed with gallery will be displayed

Fees and Dates

  • Application fee: $35 (non-refundable)
  • Submission deadline: September 1, 2026
