Continuum, Quilts + Fiber is a combined call for entry for quilt and fiber makers working in any style, from traditional to abstract. This call will showcase quilt-inspired processes like layering, stitching, and piecing, as well as a full spectrum of media. From traditional bed quilts to three-dimensional mixed-media works, the exhibition will celebrate the infinite ways artists use fiber and fiber-adjacent materials to tell stories and create visionary art.

All selected works will appear in a virtual exhibition hosted by Studio Art Quilt Associates and will be eligible for an on-site exhibition in 2028 at the International Quilt Museum from June 2 through November 11, 2028.

Open to international artists. Only artwork created in 2023 or later will be considered. Submitted artwork must be a finished, physical piece of fiber art. AI-generated images, renderings, or digital compositions submitted in place of a physical work are not eligible.

All fiber and quilt media accepted, including traditional techniques and experimental materials. There are no dimension restrictions, but the International Quilt Museum may consider dimensions when choosing artwork for the on-site exhibition.

Submit up to 3 full images (5MB or less each) of finished work. Use a clean, neutral background, shoot straight-on, and do not include hands, feet, or detail views. For each entry, provide: title, materials, techniques, dimensions (Height x Width x Depth in inches), year completed, insurance value, retail value or NFS, photo credit, and an artist statement of 100 words or less in first person, speaking to the specific work entered.
