Jakob Kudsk Steensen: Otherworlds is an immersive exhibition examining contemporary ecological realities through virtual reality experiences, spatialized sound environments, and immersive video installations. This is the artist's first solo exhibition in Canada and includes the North American premiere of his large-scale installation Psychosphere (2025).

Location

451 Saint-Jean Street, Montréal, Québec H2Y 2R5. The building is wheelchair accessible with elevators to all four floors and an accessible bathroom in the basement.

Virtual Reality & Content Warnings

Some works use virtual reality headsets, recommended for ages 13 and up. Virtual reality experiences are not recommended for individuals with claustrophobia, heart conditions, epilepsy, or sensitivity to motion sickness. One exhibition space is dimly lit and includes water basins on the floor that may not be clearly visible; visitors are advised to proceed with care.
