Nordic Region (Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Åland Islands)

Norden 0–30 supports Nordic cooperative projects for children and young people up to age 30. The programme promotes democracy, participation, and young people's influence across the Nordic Region. Projects may relate to culture, social issues, and/or politics.

Organizations, municipalities, institutions, associations, and networks based in the Nordic Region. The lead applicant must have a corporate identity number and be based in the Nordic Region. The applicant does not need to be a young person but must represent an organization that either consists of, or has experience of involving, children and young people.

Projects must involve cooperation between Nordic countries. For two-country projects, one must be Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, or Åland. For three or more countries, at least three must be Nordic countries.

For cooperation between three or more Nordic countries, apply for up to EUR 50,000. For cooperation between two Nordic countries, apply for up to EUR 10,000. You must secure at least 15% of project funding from other sources (including in-kind contributions).

  • Networks: meetings, conferences, workshops, camps, or training courses
  • Creative outputs: campaigns, reports, digital content, or works of art that increase awareness of children's and young people's rights and participation opportunities

The programme does not grant funding for activities already carried out, commercial projects intended to generate profit, or routine operating costs such as equipment purchases or salaries not directly related to the project.

Projects may run during the year the application is submitted and the following two calendar years. The earliest start date is eight weeks after the application deadline.
