About the Theme
Sense of Place refers to the emotive bonds and attachments people develop or experience in particular locations and environments. The call focuses on Hong Kong's distinctiveness and unique character, with three sub-themes: land, sea, and urban environment.
Accepted Media
- Painting, pastel, drawings, watercolor, mixed media, assemblage, photography, prints, textile, fiber, and similar works
- Hanging, floor, or pedestal sculpture will NOT be considered
Size & Specifications
- All sizes considered; preference for larger works
- Maximum wall space: 200 cm height and 200 cm (or more) in width
- Smaller sizes will also be considered
- Round 1 submissions must be stretched, framed (if needed), and ready for hanging
- Round 2 submissions can be stretched and framed at a later date if necessary
Pricing
Works should be priced between HKD 2,000 and HKD 30,000.

- Artists may submit UP TO 3 pieces
- Include up to 3 images per artwork: overall view, closeup detail, and framed (if applicable)
- Include size, retail price, title, medium, and brief artist biography
