About
Overview
The Meditative Writing Method helps you suffer less and write more. Practitioners write with greater artistry and craft and discover a reliable flow state, sharper creativity through meditative and cognitive techniques, a sustainable process built to support a lifelong career, and reconnection with your inner artist.
What you'll learn
- A reliable flow state you can return to on demand
- Sharper creativity through meditative and cognitive techniques
- A sustainable process built to support a lifelong career, not burn you out
- A reconnection with your inner artist, the one buried under deadlines and doubt
- Intuitive story structure that emerges from instinct, not formula
- Greater writing stamina and resilience, page after page
How it works
In each session, cognitive and meditative exercises are designed to help you open your mind to new ideas and inspiration, tap into a deeper well of creativity, and write without judgment. These in-class guided meditations will ensure you leave each session with pages upon pages of new writing. The workshop practices a new approach to creative writing grounded in the psychology of creativity, the truth of human behavior, and practices that enhance creative health, longevity, and joy.
Next steps
After completing the Level One workshop, writers are invited to take intermediate classes in structure, outlining, pitching, and character development, as well as intensives, where the average writer can write up to 70 new pages over a few days.
