Get matched →The Hoyt invites artists and makers to apply for the 2026 Holiday Gift Shop, a seasonal showcase of original, handcrafted art and gifts prominently displayed in the glass-enclosed walkway at the museum's entrance. The Gift Shop opens November 22 during the Hoyt's Annual Holiday Open House, welcoming more than 500 visitors in a single day, and continues through January 2 alongside the museum's popular Holiday House Tours.
Original, handcrafted work that is ready for sale and well suited for holiday gift giving. All work must be created by the applying artist—items made from commercial kits will not be accepted. Artwork must arrive ready for display and sale, including appropriate framing, hanging hardware, packaging, or presentation as applicable.
Applications are reviewed by committee, with selections based on quality, marketability, price point, and duplication of similar work within the shop. As few as 12 pieces are acceptable from selected artists.
The Hoyt retains a 30% commission on all sales.
