Overview
Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling (KE26) is an annual juried exhibition for contemporary art held at Den Frie Udstillingsbygning in Copenhagen since 1915. It is open to any artist regardless of nationality, age, or place of residence. Works are assessed anonymously by a jury of practicing artists across three digital rounds.

Eligibility
Open to individual artists and artist groups. Works must be no more than two years old and cannot have been previously accepted at other Danish state-recognized juried exhibitions (Kunstnernes Sommerudstilling, Kunstnernes Påskeudstilling, and Forårsudstillingen at Charlottenborg).
Application Requirements
- Registration fee of DKK 380, paid online via KE's website during the application period
- Up to 6 works may be submitted per application
- Applicants assigned a case number and PIN; identified to jurors only by case number to maintain anonymity
- Performance submissions require two documentation videos (1-minute and full-length) plus text description
- Video works longer than 1 minute must be submitted in two versions (full-length and 1-minute edit); jurying based on 1-minute edit
- Digital works must be hosted online (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.) and anonymized; saved as MP4 format minimum ~15,000 kbps; sound files in WAV format
- Sculpture garden submissions: maximum 300 cm high with 100 cm radius, must be safely ground-installed, cannot obstruct traffic, heavy works on standard euro pallet maximum 100 kg, cannot be insured
- Workshops and events must be documented with video or photo and full descriptive text including duration and space requirements
Awards & Benefits
Accepted artists receive a fee of DKK 2,000 (applies to artist groups as well) and 5-year membership in the KE association.
Additional Information
Works are juried digitally across three rounds based only on materials submitted through the application form (images, links to digital works, and comments to jurors). Applicants are identified to jurors only by case number, maintaining anonymity. KE sends automated emails that may be filtered as spam; applicants should check spam folders and monitor the website. Artists exhibiting video/screen-based works must supply and bring their own screens; KE does not provide them.
