This inaugural commissioning art initiative by renowned artist Xu Bing, Hong Kong's Ambassador for Cultural Promotion, features exhibitions, new calligraphy works displayed in MTR stations, and school workshops.
A writing system developed by Xu Bing beginning in 1993, in which English is written to resemble Chinese characters. This project incorporates Hong Kong's distinctive linguistic features, offering the public a fresh perspective on the artist's innovative English calligraphy.
