About the Artists
Paolo Porelli (1966) creates archetypal ceramic figures inspired by ancient mythology and Christian iconography, transforming classical imagery into enigmatic, abstracted forms. Mattia Vernocchi (1980) analyzes objects transitioning from functionality to abstraction, merging clay with contradictory materials and exploring nature's cycles through ceramic forms.

Divenire: tra materia, storia e natura (Becoming: between matter, history and nature). Both artists explore industrial society, consumption, alienation, and the loss of nature as creative pretexts, leading back to humanity's archaic roots and reunification with nature.
