About
Overview
The Waukee Public Library's Art Gallery is located in the Coal Mine Meeting Room. Each month, a different local artist's work is featured. The gallery focuses primarily on two-dimensional work. Displays and exhibits must be of general interest, open to the public, and be of educational, cultural, historical, or recreational nature.
How to Enter
Applications for exhibits are accepted throughout the year. Individuals responsible for the display will arrange their own materials under general supervision of library staff, furnish their own easels or equipment necessary for display, and are responsible for any damage to library property. Individuals, organizations, or groups placing materials on exhibit must sign a 'General Exhibit and Public Display Release' form.
Sales & Display
Sales are allowed and are the responsibility of the artist. Pricing may be displayed, but sold artwork should remain on display until the exhibit closes.
