Overview
A four-week virtual workshop with Kolaj Institute to develop practical techniques for writing about your artwork. Participants will examine artist statements, biographies, proposals, art reviews, and other forms of writing about art. The workshop includes virtual presentations, group discussions, readings, and sharing of texts in process. Facilitated by Kolaj Magazine Editor Ric Kasini Kadour with guest speaker Danielle Krysa, a collage artist and author of seven books.

Open to self-motivated artists at any stage in their careers who want to develop and expand their collage-based artist practice and work toward professional goals, particularly in exhibitions and publishing.

- $600 USD
- Limited grants available to reduce barriers to participation, particularly for artists from places that face historic economic disadvantages
- Payment plans may be available to accepted artists
