Designed for writers, visual artists, illustrators, independent scholars, and interdisciplinary practitioners, the residency offers dedicated time and space for focused creative or research-based work within a quiet cultural setting.
Studio Mirlo is an independent analogue cultural space encompassing a library and art gallery in San Miguel Viejo, approximately 3.5 km from the historic center of San Miguel de Allende. Residents have access to Studio Mirlo’s curated library and work spaces and are invited to engage with the cultural life of the studio and surrounding community while developing their own independent practice.
Residencies are a minimum of one month. The program is open to international applicants. Accommodation is provided on site, and residents are responsible for a monthly residency fee and their own travel and living expenses.
