About
Overview
Shangyuan Art Museum – Jingdezhen Huangyao Museum Studio offers residencies for up to 10 artists (family members allowed) with access to kilns in cooperation with the Huangyao Museum. All disciplines welcome, though porcelain makers are preferred.
Accommodation
Each suite features a bedroom, bathroom with 3 beds, and access to a shared canteen.
Duration
Residencies start on the 1st of each month with a minimum stay of 1 month and no predetermined end time.
Costs
Accommodation is free of charge. No financial support is provided.
Expectations
Artists are expected to actively engage in cooperation and cultural exchange with local artists.
Application Materials
- Ten images of your works (jpg format, with the material, name, size, and time indicated in the picture name) in a compressed package via e-mail
- One personal photo and a scan of your ID (you can block out ID number or other sensitive information)
- Your resume and personal statement of your works (Word format)
