About One Columbia
One Columbia is a non-profit formed in 2012 and designated as the Local Arts Agency for the city of Columbia. The organization's mission is to advise, amplify, and advocate for the unified arts and culture community, enhancing quality of life for citizens, attracting tourist dollars, and supporting a vibrant and growing city.
Our Work
One Columbia serves in an advisory role to City Council, creating a bridge between the arts, community, and government. The organization helps artists find audiences and people discover the arts by providing a city-wide directory of exhibits, performances, and classes. They strengthen the creative community by providing opportunities for artists to find funding, studio space, performance venues, and educational opportunities.
Our Home
In the summer of 2025, One Columbia moved into the Ensor Keenan House in the Eau Claire neighborhood. Built in 1870 and on the National Register of Historic Places, the house has been restored and maintained by the City of Columbia and serves as a venue for art classes, gallery shows featuring local artists, and community events.
