The 128th Annual Exhibition by Indiana and Ohio Artists is open to regional artists 18 and over. Works must be original, completed in 2025–2026, and not previously shown at Richmond Art Museum. No AI-generated artwork is permitted.

Open to all artists 18 years of age and over who presently live in Indiana or Ohio. Works must be original, completed in the last two years, and not previously exhibited in the Richmond Art Museum Annual Exhibition. Both 2-D and 3-D works are eligible, including drawing, printmaking, mixed media, painting, photography, fiber arts, clay, jewelry, sculpture, wood and glass. No AI-generated artwork or AI-generated reference images permitted. Advanced division artists' works cannot have been executed in class or under supervision of an instructor. An Amateur Division is also available for artists in early stages of development or whose motivation is recreational.

Both 2-D and 3-D works eligible: drawing, printmaking, mixed media, painting, photography, fiber arts, clay, jewelry, sculpture, wood, and glass. All works must be maintenance-free. No entry may exceed 60 inches in any direction, including frame, or exceed 50 pounds in weight.

  • RAM Members or Students: $30 for 2 works
  • Non-Members: $55 for 2 works
  • Entry fees are non-refundable

  • $1,000 – Awards of Excellence (3)
  • $500 – Merit Awards (5)
  • $250 – Merit Awards (6)

Up to 2 artworks per artist. Submit high-quality JPEG image files. All works must be for sale in the Advanced Division. Values must be based on actual retail sales, subject to a maximum of $5,000 for any one item. Works over $5,000 need proof of previous sales. The Richmond Art Museum will retain a 30% commission; prices listed on the entry form must reflect this commission. Purchase Awards will be paid at 70% of the listed price. Prices may not change after submissions close.

All wall-hung work must be properly framed with securely attached wire. Vertical D Rings are preferred for hanging. Use flat strap wires only (no cleats, saw-tooth, or clip frame hangers). Works on paper must be glazed (glass or plexiglass). RAM will provide insurance on all works while at the museum for the listed sales price, up to $5,000 per item. RAM will not assume liability for loss or damage during transit. Accepted works may not be withdrawn prior to the close of the exhibition and must abide by specifications.
