ELPA Design and Sustainability Residency is a one-month creative residency in rural Latvia near Līvāni, surrounded by an apple orchard, forest, and meadows. The name comes from the Latvian word elpa, meaning "breath"—symbolizing renewal and giving something a second life. The residency welcomes artists and cultural practitioners from diverse fields to exchange ideas, work on projects, and take a meaningful break from achievement-driven culture.

Expectations & Deliverables
Artists must provide a clear project outline in their application and dedicate most of their time to working on their project during the residency. At the end, artists are expected to share their work with the local community through an artist talk, workshop, or other agreed format.
