Overview
The Ibermúsicas Prize for Composition and Work Premiere 2021 aims to promote the creation and premiere of concert music (academic, erudite, and experimental). The competition groups Ibermúsicas member countries in pairs, requiring composers to partner with musical groups from a designated partner country. One project will be awarded per member country.
Eligibility
Composers must belong by nationality or certified residence to Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Uruguay, or Venezuela. Each composer may submit only one proposal.

Submit an unpublished composition under a pseudonym, never before publicly presented or awarded. Include a commitment letter (Carta Compromisso) for premiere from an ensemble, chamber group, or interpreters from the partner country, plus a filming budget for that premiere.
