Studio 88 offers artist residencies in Chiang Mai, Thailand, ranging from 2 weeks to 3 months. A residency of 4 weeks or above is advised. Studio spaces of different sizes and types are available depending on availability. Residents must bring their own computer or materials; alternatively, materials can be purchased in Chiang Mai with Studio 88's assistance.
Who Can Apply
Individual artists, artist duos, artists with assistants, artist groups (minimum 3 people), and family groups are welcome. Discounted prices are available for artist groups and a special rate is offered for Thai artists. Please contact Studio 88 for details.
Residency Fees
- Individual artist: 40,000 THB (2 weeks), 52,000 THB (3 weeks), 60,000 THB (4 weeks), 80,000 THB (6 weeks), 100,000 THB (8 weeks)
- Artist duo/with assistant (per person): 36,000 THB (2 weeks), 46,800 THB (3 weeks), 54,000 THB (4 weeks), 72,000 THB (6 weeks), 90,000 THB (8 weeks)
- Artist group minimum 3 pax (per person): 34,000 THB (2 weeks), 44,200 THB (3 weeks), 51,000 THB (4 weeks), 68,000 THB (6 weeks), 85,000 THB (8 weeks)
- Additional family member (per person): 20,000 THB (2 weeks), 26,000 THB (3 weeks), 30,000 THB (4 weeks), 40,000 THB (6 weeks), 50,000 THB (8 weeks)

Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon residency confirmation. The remaining 50% balance is non-refundable and must be paid minimum one month before the residency begins.

- Individual artist: 40,000 THB (2 weeks) to 100,000 THB (8 weeks); Artist duo/with assistant: 36,000–90,000 THB per person; Artist group (3+ people): 34,000–85,000 THB per person; Additional family member: 20,000–50,000 THB per person. All in Thai baht. Discounted prices available for artist groups and Thai artists.
