About Arts on Grand
Arts on Grand is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed January 23, 1989, and located in Spencer, Iowa. The organization promotes and presents local artists and musicians with a mission to make the arts accessible and affordable to all. Services include exhibit gallery hosting various artists, live music from local musicians, classes for all ages, a gift shop featuring local and Midwestern artists, and space for group and artist meetings and performances.
Programs & Events
Arts on Grand hosts events throughout the year including Voices on Grand Plein Air Contest at the Clay County Fair, Christmas in the Gallery, Emerging Artist Opportunities, collaborative programming with area businesses and schools, Films for the Cinematically Disadvantaged, Spencer Art Alliance (SPACE) Festival of Trees, Paint & Pints, Art Barn at The Clay County Fairgrounds, and yearly exhibitions with the Spencer Community Schools.
