Overview
Individual Artist Award provides up to $5,000 for artist-driven projects that have a public benefit and enrich the community of Central Florida by advancing artistic excellence and increasing access to innovative arts experiences. These awards are designed to support activities that further the careers of diverse artists with a professional practice across all disciplines.

Eligibility
- Individuals (not organizations)
- Residency required in Lake, Orange, Osceola, or Seminole counties
- Professional artistic practice required
- Two categories: Emerging Artists (early- to mid-career with strong commitment to continued training) and Established Artists (considerable experience with substantial body of work)
Award Details
Up to 20 Central Florida artists will receive $5,000 grants. Award funds must support specific activities/work such as presentations, training, research, and/or creation of artwork with tangible outcomes. These awards require a public-facing component that increases access to art and cultural experiences and are considered a stipend to the artist for the work undertaken and completed.
