Mini Plays Magazine is seeking sharp, short scripts exploring "Echoes of the Digital Age"—how human connection, conflict, identity, and memory are being rewritten in a hyper-connected yet deeply isolated world. Works should capture the friction between physical lives and digital existence.
Theme & Subthemes
Submit work addressing one or more of 15 subthemes: Phantom Vibrations, The Glitch in the Routine, Data Dust, Analog Hearts, The Algorithm Knows Best, Ghosted, Two Screens One Couch, The Deepfake, Curated Lives, Sentience on the Line, The Comments Section, Doomscrolling at Midnight, Out of Network, Digital Inheritance, or The Echo Chamber.
Submission Requirements
- Maximum 2 pages per mini play, soliloquy, or monologue
- Standard playwriting format (PDF or Word document preferred)
- Maximum 5 submissions per playwright
- Works must be original and unproduced in print format
- Simultaneous submissions welcome with immediate notification upon acceptance elsewhere
