The 2010 Conference examined the state of residencies in the Americas by taking stock of the experiences, local initiatives, and self-management models impacting methods of production and distribution, as well as the creative contexts for contemporary work. Conference participants met the most representative interlocutors from the Americas’ vast cultural scene in order to understand the stakes and factors both distinguishing and uniting them. The Conference was held at the Just for Laughs Museum / Musée Juste Pour Rire with an optional day trip to Quebec City on the 10th.
