Naples New Year's Art Fair 2027 - 31st Annual

Overview

The Naples New Year's Art Fair is the 31st annual art fair hosted by Naples Art Institute at Cambier Park. The fair welcomes original artwork across 18+ categories including ceramics, digital art, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, painting, photography, sculpture, wood, and more. Accepted artists receive complimentary access to the museum's exhibition "Rembrandt - Masterpieces in Black and White."

Eligibility

All artwork submitted must be original work designed and executed by the accepted artist. Collaborating artists who jointly produce single works may apply as a single exhibitor if the collaboration is artistic (not business-related), clearly identified on the application, and both artists are present during all show hours. Accepted artists must be present in their booths during all fair days and hours; no agents, representatives, or substitutes permitted (NAI's booth-sitter service is available for short breaks).

Work Requirements

Work displayed and sold must be consistent with images submitted. No apprentice or employee work, commercial agents, commercially available molds, mass-produced items, embellished ready-made objects, copies of masters, advertisements, or copyrighted work. No posters, laser prints, t-shirts, postcards, calendars, or promotional items.

Art Categories

• Ceramics: original shaped and fired clay (earthenware, porcelain, stoneware, terracotta); not machine-made or mass-produced
• Digital Art: signed original work created with digital technology, printed with archival materials
• Fiber/Wearable: basketry, batik, weaving, tapestry, papermaking, or original clothing and leather goods
• Furniture: original functional work in any material
• Glass: blown glass, fused glass, or stained glass
• Drawing/Printmaking: drawings in graphite, ink, charcoal, pastels, or other marking media; printmaking via transfer process
• Jewelry: precious (gold, sterling silver, precious stones, enamel) or semi-precious (non-precious metals, glass, clay, fiber, wood, leather, polymer)
• Metal: original metalwork without production studio work
• Mixed Media 2D: collage and handmade paper, relief depth less than 1/8 inch
• Mixed Media 3D: non-functional work combining multiple materials, depth exceeds 1/8 inch
• Painting: oil, acrylic, egg tempera, casein, or alkyd on canvas; watercolor on paper
• Photography: signed prints from original negatives or digital files processed by the artist
• Sculpture: original three-dimensional work in stone or other hard material
• Wood: hand-tooled, machine-worked, carved, or turned wood (not functional furniture)

Jury and Acceptance

By applying, artists certify that submitted images represent their original work. Acceptance is non-transferable and at the discretion of Naples Art Institute. An NAI staff member will inspect all booths during the fair to ensure work matches submitted images.

Booth Requirements

Booths are for individual exhibiting artists and may not be shared between multiple artists. Accepted artists must be present during all show hours.
