Overview
Dot Gallery in Cockermouth, Cumbria seeks artworks responding to the theme of 'Faces and Spaces' – descriptive or abstract interpretations welcome. The gallery is newly opened and aims to provide a welcoming space for artists to exhibit and sell their work.
What to submit
2D work in any medium, or a limited number of 3D works (no audio or video). Wall-mounted work can be any size or shape; 3D work should fit comfortably on a 45 x 45 cm plinth. Work can be framed or unframed. Submit complete, original work only – no canvas prints as substitutes for originals, though hand-produced prints are acceptable.

- Exhibition: Saturday 3rd October – Wednesday 4th November 2026
- Opening event: Friday 2nd October, 6–8 pm

Entries & fees
- Submit up to 3 pieces of work; each requires a separate form
- £30 per accepted work selected
- Additional costs: postage/delivery to the gallery, and return postage (charged at Royal Mail Tracked 48 rates plus £4 handling fee, or Parcelforce Express 48 for larger parcels)
Sales & commissions
Work will be offered for sale throughout the exhibition. Successful artists receive 90% of the sale price after a 10% commission is deducted.
Accessibility
The gallery is partially accessible with limited access to the exhibition space due to steps; accessible facilities are available at the premises.
