Overview

The call for residency hosts provides financial support to legal entities wishing to host artists and cultural professionals for one residency project. This call has two phases: Phase 1 involves the submission of the application describing the residency project and required supporting documents about the legal entity. Phase 2, if selected in phase 1, allows applicants to choose artists and cultural professionals as residents and complete the final part of the application.

Eligibility

• Legal entities registered and based in one of the Creative Europe countries, including overseas countries and territories and outermost regions.
• Must have the capacity to host the proposed residency project with artists and cultural professionals from other Creative Europe countries.
• Applicants must be active in one of the eligible sectors: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts.

Residency Grant Financial Support

• To the host:
• • Hosting allowance: €50 per day, per resident.
• • Accessibility support (if applicable): A fixed amount of €375, €675, or €1,200, based on residency duration category, for extra costs related to resident’s accessibility needs.
• To each resident:
• • Daily allowance: €30 per day, per resident.
• • Travel allowance: €400 for travel distances under 5,000 km, €800 for travel distances from 5,000 km. The travel distance is calculated automatically in the application form.
• • Top-ups (if applicable): Green mobility top-up: €400; Overseas countries and territories / Outermost regions (OCT/OR) top-up: €175; Family top-up: €200 per child under 18 years old; Visa top-up: €120.
