Artists, researchers, writers, and creative practitioners are invited to propose independent projects for residency at Braziers Park between 1 December 2026 and 28 February 2027.
Overview
The ACRE (Academic and Creative Research) Residency Programme invites artists, researchers, writers, and creative practitioners to live and work at Braziers Park while developing independent projects. Residents join the community as lodgers and pursue their own research or creative practice while engaging with the social, ecological, and cultural environment of Braziers Park. The residency is a space for individual work and an opportunity to participate in and reflect on collective life.

- Residency period: 1 December 2026 to 28 February 2027
- Residencies may be proposed for any period within these dates, with possibility of extension on request

- Open to artists, researchers, writers, and creative practitioners of any stage of career
- Open to artists based anywhere in the world
- Collaborative applications and teams welcome
- Pets are not allowed
- Partially accessible housing (50% or more)
Residency length
- 1 week to 3 months
- Up to 12 ACRE residents welcomed in this open call
Fees
- Residency contribution: £560.15 per month for private accommodation
- Meals optional and charged separately: £5.00 per day for full meals, £2.50 for half-day (lunch or supper), £1.50 per day for breakfast items, snacks, and hot drinks
- Most community meals are vegetarian; vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets usually accommodated
