The ACRE (Academic and Creative Research) Residency Programme invites artists, researchers, writers, and creative practitioners to live and work at Braziers Park while developing independent projects. Residents join the community as lodgers and pursue their own research or creative practice while engaging with the social, ecological, and cultural environment of Braziers Park. The residency is both a space for individual work and an opportunity to participate in and reflect on collective life.

  • Residency period: 1 December 2026 – 28 February 2027
  • Duration: 1 week to 3 months within these dates
  • Extensions possible depending on room availability and community capacity
  • Up to 12 residents at a time
  • Open to artists, researchers, writers, and creative practitioners of any stage of career
  • Based anywhere in the world
  • Collaborative applications and teams welcome
  • Pets are not allowed
  • Residency contribution: £560.15 per month for private accommodation
  • Meals optional and charged separately: £5.00 per day for full meals, £2.50 for half-day (lunch or supper), £1.50 per day for breakfast items, snacks, and hot drinks
  • Most community meals are vegetarian; vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets usually accommodated
  • Housing: Partially accessible (50% or more)
