About the Host Institution
Pivô is a renowned nonprofit art space located in the iconic Copan building, designed by Oscar Niemeyer in downtown São Paulo. Since its founding in 2012, Pivô has supported projects by over two hundred artists and curators, offering exhibitions, residencies, commissions, and educational programs.
About Fundación Ama Amoedo
Founded in 2021 and based in Uruguay, Fundación Ama Amoedo is committed to making a lasting, positive impact on Latin American contemporary art. It aims to amplify the visibility of artists from the region—particularly from Argentina and Uruguay—through scholarships, programs, and residencies. This initiative formalizes more than twenty-five years of continuous support from its founder.
