For 2027, artists in the graphic design/drawing discipline are invited to apply for a six-month residency. The stipendium runs from April to September 2027 and involves working with residents of a facility for severely disabled individuals (Schwerstbehindertenwohnheim). The artistic concept and how it will engage with residents must be clearly articulated in the application.

  • Free studio space at Städtisches Behindertenzentrum Dr. Dormagen-Guffanti for the duration

The application must clearly describe the artistic idea and how work will be conducted with residents. Artists may also engage with residents of other initiatives on the site, including Treberhilfe, Aidshilfe, and Gehörlosen e.V. The work must be free from pedagogical or therapeutic intervention.

  • Visiting opportunity: 28 July 2026, 15:00–16:30 at the studio
