Get matched →The Indigenous Arts Program Pilot supports Indigenous organizations and collectives in British Columbia that are leading artistic and cultural activities in their communities. Developed with guidance from the Joint Indigenous Arts Advisory Circle, this program improves access to funding, reduces barriers for Indigenous organizations, and supports Indigenous-led artistic and cultural activities that reflect Indigenous values, priorities, and ways of working.
B.C.-based Indigenous Arts Organizations, Indigenous Community Organizations, Indigenous Book Publishers and Literary Periodicals, Indigenous Cultural Centres and Museums, B.C. First Nations governing bodies, or collectives of three or more people. Organizations must have a primary purpose aligned with Indigenous arts and culture.

Applications must be submitted through the BC Arts Council's online Grant Management System. New applicants must register and create a profile in the online system by November 4, 2026. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on November 12, 2026. It may take up to five business days after receipt of all required documents to process your registration request.
Applicants experiencing barriers related to literacy, technology, geography, language, or other access needs may request additional support including writing and editing assistance, translation, interpretation, transcription, technical assistance, coaching, or mentorship. The deadline to request this assistance is October 29, 2026.
