Andy Warhol transformed the way we see art, celebrity, consumer culture, advertising, and everyday objects. His bold imagery, repetition, vibrant color, and fascination with popular culture challenged traditional ideas about what could be considered art. Artists are invited to explore the theme "Inspired by Andy Warhol" and create work that reflects, responds to, or reimagines the ideas and visual language associated with Pop Art.
Open to Arizona artists, 18 years and older.
Painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, glass, photography, giclées of paintings, ceramic, and sculpture in both traditional approaches and new techniques.
