Camp MASS MoCA

Young people grades 2–9 are invited to attend one-week summer camps at MASS MoCA where they explore the museum campus and exhibitions, meet artists, and create original collaborative artworks.

Camp MASS MoCA invites young people entering grades 2–9 to explore the expansive MASS MoCA campus and world-class art exhibitions, meet exhibiting artists, and create original collaborative works. Camps run 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a daily healthy snack provided.

  • Week 1 (August 3–7): Cardboard Everything! for grades 2–5
  • Week 2 (August 10–14): From Roots to Rallies (grades 2–6) and From the Air: Animation and Projection (grades 6–9)
  • Week 3 (August 17–21): Weaving Utopia (grades 2–5) and Camp: Connected (grades 6–9)
  • $450 per week for non-members
  • 10% discount for MASS MoCA members

MASS MoCA provides a daily healthy snack for campers (included in registration fee). Campers should bring their own lunch or purchase boxed lunches from Lickety Split for an additional fee.

One full scholarship per camp is available for students from North Adams Public Schools, North Berkshire School Union, Hoosac Valley Public Schools, Pittsfield Public Schools, and homeschool students. To apply, email [email protected] with your child's name, age, school, camp week(s) preference, and contact information by April 30 to enter the scholarship lottery.
