The ArtCentre of Plano invites Texas artists to submit original artwork for a juried exhibition celebrating creativity and visual stories. The exhibition is the centerpiece of the ArtCentre's month-long season-opening celebration, bringing together emerging and established artists working across 2D and 3D media.

  • Call opens: July 31, 2026
  • Submission deadline: August 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time
  • Notification: September 1, 2026
  • Shipped artwork delivery: October 12-19, 2026
  • Hand-delivered artwork due: October 19, 2026, 10 AM to 4 PM
  • Exhibition: October 24 to November 21, 2026
  • VIP Art Preview: October 24, 2026, 3 PM to 5 PM
  • For the Love of Art Gala: October 30, 2026, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
  • For the Love of Art and Cars: November 7, 2026, 9 AM to noon
  • Pickup Party and deinstallation: November 21, 2026, 3 PM to 5 PM
  • Final pickup: November 23, 2026, 10 AM to 4 PM
  • Return shipping begins: November 23, 2026
  • Artist checks issued: December 4, 2026, should be received by December 12, 2026

Open to Texas artists age 18 and older. All submitted artwork must be available for sale.

  • Submit up to 3 original artworks (minimum 1, maximum 3 images)
  • 2D limit: 36 inches on the longest side, including frame
  • 3D limit: 36 inches wide × 36 inches deep × 84 inches high; 100 lbs maximum
  • $35 for the first artwork
  • $5 each for up to two additional artworks
  • Maximum of three artworks
  • Best in Show: $250
  • People's Choice: $250

All artwork sales are processed through the ArtCentre. The artist receives 50% of the listed retail price, and the ArtCentre retains 50%. The price submitted through CaFÉ is final and may not be changed after acceptance.

Deborah Hartigan is a Dallas-based abstract expressionist artist, sculptor, gallerist, curator, and art advisor with more than 40 years of experience. She earned her BFA from Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford and founded DHV Artworks in 2016. Her experience as both a working artist and curator provides a thoughtful foundation for evaluating artistic intent, craftsmanship, presentation, and audience impact.
