Overview
The 9th Annual Aaron Huisman Desert Art Contest welcomes artists to submit original handmade works celebrating the desert landscape representing rural Nevada.
Eligibility & Media
Open to all artists. No photography. Accepted disciplines: Painting/Drawing (oils, watercolor, crayon, pencil, pen and ink) and Sculpture (clay, metal, wood, mixed media).
Submission Requirements
All entries must be original handmade work celebrating the desert landscape representing rural Nevada. Entries are limited to one piece per category.

Key Dates

Judging & Awards
The judging will be done by three independent judges. All artists are encouraged to attend the awards announcement.
Responsibilities
Artists are responsible for the display, set-up, and take down of their artwork. The room coordinator will designate the table for each category and age group. Any display items required are the responsibility of the artist.
